08.30 – 18.00 Youth committee members will meet you at Gardermoen Airport and hand you airport tickets + info on how to get to the hotel.

a) For everybody: Follow Olav&Thor to Stortorget (in front of the main church in Oslo):12.00 Joining Foss High School  in the parade   – Participating  in the 17th of May Paradefrom Stortorvet, through Karl Johan Street, in front of the King’s family at the castle, to Rådhusplassen (City Hall).

b) Teachers only: Watching the parade in front of the King’s Palace  (We have 25 tickets. Hand-out: Olav 10.30. Guide: Eli Engløk)         

 

c) For the rest: Watching the celebration and parade by walking around in the city center on your own.

09.20 – 10.20 Essay evaluation workshop: Case essays (OHG, Aud 3 or at the hotel)

Evaluation of IPO – round 1 Int. jury works in groups of four people, each group grading 5-6 essays. Grades/marks to be given to org.com/Thomas Brehlin at Aud. 3 individually, with signature.

16.00 – 17.20  and 17.40 – 19.00: Seminar/workshops  at 5 different class rooms on the ground floor OHG.                 

Each student attends 2 out of  5 parallel seminars which each last max 80 min. All seminars are repeated once, which is why you can choose two. (Student-groups are set up in advance at Hotel IPO Info desk in the morning 17th or 18th.) Max 16 pr. group.

  Bus 1 (students) 09.50: To Frognerparken (Vigeland Sculpture Park). 11.00: Bus leaves for National Gallery Munch-exhibition, then to Holmenkollen ski jump/ Frognerseteren. Return to downtown area or hotel.                                                                                                                                                               
  Bus 2 (students) 09.50: To Frognerparken (Vigeland Sculpture Park). 11.00: Bus leaves for Holmenkollen Ski Jump/ Frongerseteren, and then to National Gallery Munch-exhibition (arrival estimate 12.30). Then a walk/ bus ride back to the hotel.                                     
  Bus 3 (teachers) 09.50: To Frognerparken (Vigeland Sculpture Parc). 11.30 to National Gallery Munch-exhibition. Then to Holmenkollen Ski Jump/ Frognerseteren. then return to the hotel.
